On Saturday, 4th October 2025, eight of our dedicated Black Tags achieved their Black Belts – a monumental milestone in their martial arts journey!
After going through a gruelling 3-hour grading that tested them on patterns, theory, and sparring, each one demonstrated outstanding perseverance, skill, and spirit.
A huge well done to all – their hard work and commitment truly paid off. We’re incredibly proud!

New Black Belts are receiving their belts from Mr. K. Uddin (4th Dan), assisted by Mr. Hussain (2nd Dan) and Mr. N. Uddin (2nd Dan).

Our Black Belts are turning heads — looking sharp, confident, and downright dapper!

Some of the proud fathers, beaming with pride at their children’s incredible achievements.
It can take approximately three years of training from a beginner level to achieve black belt.
When a student achieves black belt this is termed as 1st Dan (degree).
Students progress through the Dan system over a period of time, learning advanced techniques and application skills in addition to deepening their understanding of the theory and values of the traditional martial art.
Students promoting from one Dan rank to the next are required to learn new patterns, refine their skills and after a minimum waiting period are permitted to test for the next Dan rank.
