On 15 November 2025, the England Taekwondo Association (ETA) held its annual gala at The Memsaheb, 65–67 Amsterdam Road, London E14 3UU.
This special event brought together ETA schools from across the country to celebrate the year’s achievements and recognise the outstanding contributions of students.
The evening was hosted by Grandmaster Denis (9th Dan), with Grandmaster Ellis (9th Dan) also in attendance. Several masters from outside the ETA were welcomed as guests, contributing to the spirit of unity and mutual respect within the wider Taekwondo community.
Guests enjoyed a wonderful evening featuring a three-course meal, shared celebrations, and an atmosphere of camaraderie. The event once again highlighted the dedication, progress, and passion that define the ETA family.
Inaaya Mohammed was awarded the ETA Most Promising Junior Award 2025.
GM Denis: “Inaaya started her Taekwondo journey as shy 7 year old in 2021. What set her apart right from the outset was her genuine desire to learn and do well in Taekwondo. She attends classes regularly and always incorporates any advice and instructions given to her. Inaaya has progressed through the ranks, performing well at her gradings. She has attended numerous seminars and taken advantage of the valuable learning and advice imparted by our ETA Grand Masters and Masters on each occasion. She has competed at regional and national levels, building on her experiences each time. She has currently reached the rank of Red belt/2nd kup and is working diligently towards her black belt next year. It’s important to mention the commitment and support Inaaya’s parents are providing her. In particular, her dad. He’s constantly encouraging Inaaya to push herself beyond her comfort zone. He’s always making time away from class to help her with pad drills to improve her Taekwondo skills. Inaaya’s ambition is to work towards being selected for the England National Team. We wish her the best of luck!”
