On 31st March 2026, the LGED Centre in Chattogram, Bangladesh hosted the 3rd International ITF Taekwondo Championship 2026. This prestigious event brought together schools from across Bangladesh, making it a major national-level competition with international participation. The championship also welcomed our Silverback Taekwondo, adding an international presence.
The competition featured a variety of events, including team patterns and individual sparring, where participants demonstrated their skill, discipline, and dedication.
A group of our Silverback students proudly attended and competed in this championship. Taking part in such a high-level international event is a significant achievement, and the experience gained is truly invaluable.

But they were ready to demonstrate seriousness and fairness when the time came — a fantastic achievement for them. Mr Miah (3rd Dan) and Mr Hussain (2nd Dan) also competed after serving as referees.

Gifts were exchanged between both teams during the closing ceremony—a beautiful gesture that reflected mutual appreciation and unity.
In true Taekwondo spirit, respect was shown by everyone both before and after the bell. This shared attitude of discipline and courtesy is what defines great sportsmanship.
And the winner is …
A team of 12 young athletes, supported by their dedicated instructors, embarked on an incredible journey of over 5,000 miles from London to Chittagong. Their goal was not only to compete on an international stage, but also to experience the rich and diverse culture of Bangladesh. They returned having achieved both with distinction.
From competitors and referees to families, organisers, and volunteers—everyone involved played a vital role. This was more than a competition; it was a shared success and a memorable chapter for all who took part.
What began over 14 months ago as a vision between Mr Uddin and our hosts in Bangladesh has grown into something truly inspiring.
The message we take forward is simple: dream big, stay disciplined, and work hard.
